The Board of Directors of PPEL is pleased to announce that First Selectman, Kevin Seery signed the East Lyme Pollinator Proclamation making HISTORY in our state!! East Lyme is now the 7th town in Connecticut to have an innovative direction forward concerning the sustainability of our environment. We want to publically thank Mr. Seery and the Board of Selectman for acknowledging the science behind maintaining and creating healthy ecosystems for our native insects. Planting native species and curtailing pesticides are vital to our standards of life in East Lyme and for future generations decades from now. Insects are the basis of the Food Chain.
